Any registered voter can request their ballot be sent by mail. Request your ballot starting August 8, 2018! Click here to begin at home.

2. EARLY VOTING BEGINS OCTOBER 22!

Any registered voter in Lake County may choose to vote early starting 15 days before the traditional Election Day. Check your voter registration status. Early voting ends the Monday before Election Day. Each voter has a convenient local site available for early voting. Each household with registered voters receives a postcard prior to the election listing early voting and Election Day sites for the addressee. Here is a great map of early voting locations thanks to our Lake County Clerk, Carla Wycoff. Here is the most updated info on voting early  and details about voting early.

3. ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2018

Beginning approximately 40 days before each election, confirm your voting site for both early voting and Election Day. You may view a picture of the building, see a map and view driving directions to your site. Also, view a sample of your official ballot online approximately 40 days before each election.

All Election Day voting sites open at 6:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM. Registered voters can log onto LakeVoterPower.info to find the address, photos, and directions for your assigned Election Day voting site. The Lake County Clerk even has photos of the building and what the entrance should look like for you!

WHO IS ON YOUR BALLOT?

Do your research. This site is a good place to start by listing who will be on your ballot but the newspapers do in depth interviews that are challenging and revealing. See your Ballot here.

Note – be sure to answer yes to retain judges even if there is only one listed.  They have to have 60% yes’s to retain the seat.
